The mission of the Labor Arbitration Committee is to enhance interest and participation in the field of labor arbitration in the public and private sectors as well as explore the interface between labor arbitration, employment arbitration and mediation of collective bargaining disputes through continuing education programs, interaction with individual arbitrators, law firms and government agencies. Additional activities to maximize the visibility of the committee and develop the skills and knowledge of experienced and potential arbitrators entail outreach to other NYSBA Sections and committees with compatible objectives and communication via the committee’s blog and the Section’s Journal.
