The Toxic Torts Committee provides a forum for discussion and analysis of key developments in toxic tort litigation, including the related aspects of product liability law, insurance law, and environmental litigation. The Committee identifies trends in case law, scientific disciplines and chemicals regulation that may affect toxic tort practitioners in New York State. The Committee organizes CLE and other programs, and contributes articles to the Energy and Environmental Law Section publications including The New York Environmental Lawyer, to educate the NYSBA community on the litigation, management, and resolution of toxic tort claims. The Committee welcomes all attorneys interested in learning about, discussing, and sharing information on these issues.
Committee membership is open to members of the Environmental and Energy Law Section.
