The Committee on Low Income and Affordable Housing views its primary mission as educating the bar about developments affecting affordable housing and keeping current with proposed and new legislation. Among other things, the Committee coordinates its educational activities with other groups, including by participating in the organization of upstate and downstate conferences sponsored by NYSAFAH (the New York State Association for Affordable Housing), some of which offer CLE credits to practitioners. If you are interested in affordable housing, this is the Committee to join. All ideas for projects are welcome.
Committee membership is open to members of the Real Property Law Section.
