The New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) President Michael Miller issued the following statement regarding the fire yesterday at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France:

“The members of the New York State Bar Association join with the people of France and so many others around the world in mourning the severe damage done to Notre Dame by a tragic fire. The cathedral is in France, but our grief has no boundaries because the great treasures of the world are cherished by all. For centuries, Notre Dame has stood as a symbol of faith, engineering, ingenuity and sheer beauty. We take solace in France’s determination to rebuild.”
