BUSINESS INTERRUPTION INSURANCE
How to Navigate Business Interruption Insurance in Light of the COVID-19 Pandemic (Webinar)
One-hour webinar hosted by James M. Wicks and Franklin C. McRoberts, commercial litigators at Farrell Fritz, P.C., that addresses an emerging topic of great interest to attorneys and their clients across the state: the extent to which insurance may (or may not) cover business losses resulting from the coronavirus outbreak. Areas that will be discussed include business interruption coverage, insuring agreements, the usual requirement of showing physical loss or damage to property, and exclusions including the virus and bacteria exclusion. Other areas that will be discussed include recent insurance industry, regulatory, and legislative developments, and the early wave of lawsuits seeking declarations as to coverage for coronavirus-related business losses.
