The Committee’s focus is on the constitutional, legislative and regulatory requirements that impact New York’s natural resources, especially the Adirondack and Catskill Parks, as well as non- park Forest Preserve lands. The Committee often reviews and comments on proposed legislation, constitutional amendments, or regulatory developments impacting these subjects.
