CPLR Update

This presentation will cover recent amendments to the CPLR, including a broad range of amendments that were part of the Consumer Credit Fairness Act, recent case law from the Court of Appeals and Appellate division addressing venue disputes, forum non conveniens, judgment enforcement, obtaining jurisdiction over corporate entities, settlement agreements, the perils of commencing an action with a CPLR 305(b) notice and other problems related to commencement, and affidavits signed outside New York State.
